Sylvia Tan

At the forefront of coffee trends, Sylvia brings with her 15 years of experience in the F&B industry. She is a highly sought-after coffee consultant to many entrepreneurs both in Malaysia and Middle East; where she provides them with business solutions, product developments, taste profiling, and communication services among others. Earning her qualifications as an Authorised SCA Trainer, Certified CQI Grader. Widely regarded for her ability in world-level judging, Sylvia was the International Jury for Cup of Excellence, Barista Sensory Judge.

Edmond Tan

Perpetually creating a precise body and mouthfeel sensation in coffee roasting, Edmond recognized his knack for roasting and envisaged the juxtaposition of Asian and Western sensibilities. Therefore, he traveled to Hong Kong and Scotland to assimilate the cultural values for the purpose of identifying an innovative approach to his roasting routine. Throughout the fundamental years of pursuing his passion, Edmond’s quick-witted personality has allowed him to strategically implement his expertise in machinery maintenance, roasting workflow planning, quality control and sensory among others

Head Barista

Sam Tan

Widely recognized as an international award-winning barista, Sam has received many notable Championship titles including Fushan Cup International Barista Championship in China, FHA Challenges of Barista Asia in Singapore, and Illy Latte Art Throw down among others. As an Authorized SCAE Trainer, Sam has extensive experience teaching and coaching a handful of students both in Malaysia and United Arab Emirates. Leveraging her finesse in the hospitality and education industry, Sam has assisted the World’s Top 10 Culinary Institute in Dubai - the International Centre for Culinary Arts (ICCA), in setting up their Education Coffee Centre. From customizing course programmes and syllables to providing specialized barista training skills, Sam was profoundly honoured by a team of world-class culinary specialists.
